Our Story

So what happens when you take a load of vintage props along with some coffee and espresso gear in an old camper and travel where the road leads you?  So what happens when you stop worrying about all the things that could go wrong or all the reasons why you shouldn’t…and just do? These are the questions that we began asking ourselves and this is how Prop Coffee was born.

We are Nora Martini and Chuck Pfahler and this our journey.

Nora Martini been self-employed as a Set/Production Designer for Film & Photography since 1991. In her 20 years of experience, she’s been planning & designing for film & photography for Art Directors and Photographers alike, working on many commercials, books, magazines, catalogs, and of course an occasional feature film here & there.

I am Chuck Pfahler, founder and Master Roaster of La Terza Artisan Coffee Roasterie. For the past 11 years, I have been dedicated to pursuing the art and science of coffee in all its expressions. Everything from sourcing, cupping, roasting, brewing to cleaning dirty pipes, I’ve learned a lot about about coffee over the years. It is my passion and my life.

We are excited about all the possibilities ahead. We are excited for the journey set before us. Prop Coffee is more than two great passions coming together in what we see as a beautiful expression. Prop Coffee is about the here and now. It’s about living in the moment. It’s about being open to opportunities, allowing serendipity to take control.

We’ll be posting our adventures here often. We invite you to be a part of our journey. Be sure to check back to find out where the road leads us.
